Mac OSX PATH / $PATH

When updating or adding paths to your ~/.profile:

vi ~/.profile

Do your edits:

PATH=$PATH:/whatever/you/want
export PATH

Save then run:

source ~/.profile

Then check it using:

echo $PATH
